• In 2018, Google announced that it will fund Artificial Intelligence (AI) research in the military Chinese Tsinghua University, which is a key national defense lab located at the “High-End Laboratory for Military Intelligence.”¹⁵⁵


• In June 2018, Google signed another joint artificial Intelligence research agreement with Fudan University, which is under military control through Fudan’s “Military Projects R&D Office.”¹⁵⁶


• On October 9, 2018 (concerning the 2016 election) it was proven that Google's search engine blocked results for searches for President Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election, but allowed anything searched for Hillary to be displayed in the searches.¹⁵⁷


• March 14, 2019, Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the work that Google is doing in China is directly benefiting the Chinese military.¹⁵⁸


• In a 2019 book, it was reported that cofounder Larry Page and CEO Eric Schmidt, made the decision to supply Google search engine's censoring code to China for their cyber-espionage military community’s censoring. To comply with China’s Great Firewall, they programmed computers within China to search for millions of websites and when they found one that was blocked by the Great Firewall, they would prevent it from showing up in Google’s search engines.¹⁵⁹


• In March of 2019, Google refused to continue to work with the US military on Project Maven. The Project Maven contract with Google ended in March 2019. Project Maven is a program that uses artificial intelligence to analyze aerial imagery taken from military drones.¹⁶⁰


• On June 2, 2019, an article on Artificial Intelligence facial recognition was written by Google and the cyber-espionage military community's "National University of Defense Technology." It was written by Naiyang Guan at Xi’s National University of Defense Technology and Yangmuzi Zhang with Google.¹⁶¹
